Action Card Rules
To perform an Action Duel, you require either an LDS Student ID or one of the 5 Arc-V Dragon Items. As long as 1 player in a duel has the item, all players in the duel can find Action Cards.
Action Duels can also be performed on the Turbo Duel map by selecting Crossover Acceleration as your Speed World Variant.
To Find an Action Card, press Ctrl+A at any time.
The amount of action cards you can find during a turn is unlimited, as long as you are able to activate or otherwise get rid of them as you find them.
If you attempt to locate an action card, and you fail, you will be unable to find another Action Card until the end of the turn.
- If a player finds an Action Card, that card is added to the player's hand and can be activated immediately, if possible. If found in response to another card activating, the Action Card chains to that card.
- Action Cards are treated as Normal Spells/Traps for other card effects/costs.
- Action Cards are Spell Speed 2 and can be activated from your hand on either player's turn. Activation timing rules follow the same conditions as a face-down Quick-Play Spell or Normal Trap.
- A Player can only hold 1 Action Card in their hand at a time. If they already have an Action Card in their hand, they cannot pick up another until the first one is activated.
- Players cannot set Action Cards face-down on the field unless it is by the effect of another card.
- Action Cards can be discarded or sent to the graveyard for card effects and costs. In the event that a player must/can send multiple cards to the graveyard, that player can discard/send 1 card at a time and attempt to locate additional Action Cards, 1 at a time, to fulfill the remaining card requirements.
- Even if an Action Card would allow a player to pay a cost, that player cannot activate a card with a discard/sending cost unless they can already pay the cost with the cards in their hand. (Example, If "Lightning Vortex" is the only card in your hand, you cannot activate it, and then try to find an Action Card to pay the cost.)
- You cannot chain an Action Card from your hand to your own Action Card.
- Action Traps are revealed to both players and must be activated immediately.
