Server wars have been a long standing tradition of competitive play on DMG (or as competitive as DMG gets). With GP allowing a looser competitive structure and reward structure, I thought I'd make a proposal for a sanctioned, official ruleset. All I'm posting here for now are up in the air, I'm willing to adjust rules per request. At the moment, without enough of a playerbase to allow guilds (and the inherent problem inherent within of all the best players will make a team that's "unbeatable") I'm leaving it as now for randomized teams. If we do get a guild-based set up at some point once more, we can revisit a Guild Team War setup at that time.
Required players: 6-12 players; equal numbers for each team.
Use an automated, randomized builder to determine teams, such as tiny.cc/ubs9cz
Duels are best of one. A winning duelist can switch decks between matches, to avoid counterpicks.
Wars are determined by the players in each team dueling one another, until all players on a side are eliminated. Example: Team 1 Has player 1, 2, 3, and 4. Team 2 has player A, B, C, and D. Player 1 plays player A. Say player A wins, Team 1 sends their next duelist against Player A. If player A is eliminated, Team 2 sends their next player, etc. If player A beats all members of Team 1, their entire team wins.
Wars will be predetermined to use either TCG or OCG format. All players must conform to the chosen format. Items are not allowed to be used.

When a War is completed, each player on the winning team will be rewarded with 5 GP per member of the opposing team. For example, if there are 5 players per team, each player on the winning team will get 25GP.
