What is a macro?
A macro is an in-built command you access using a specific button press on your computer to do a variety of things. Doing so allows you to evade menus.
In-game Macros
Note: If you have a laptop, you may need to enable FN mode, which is done by holding down the FN button while inputting these commands
F1: This raises your duel disk
F2: This brings up your deck edit
F3: This brings up your options menu.
F4: This brings up your private messages
F9: This resets your connection to the server without having to close out of the window.
In-Duel Macros
CTRL + D = This is the draw command. Pressing this button will bring up a menu. Type in a number and you'll draw that many cards.
CTRL + P = This is the "pick up" command. Pressing this button will bring up a menu. Type in a number and you'll pick up that many cards. These cards are also shown to your opponent.
CTRL + V = This allows you to search your Deck.
CTRL + L = This allows you to access your Side Deck. Once in the side deck menu, drag and drop cards from the "Side Deck" list, and place them into your main deck, afterwards place a card from your main deck into the side deck. Or vice-versa.
CTRL + S = This shuffles your deck. Your deck is automatically shuffled after you leave your deck from a search, but it can't hurt to do an extra shuffle either.
CTRL + G = This allows you to look at any graveyard.
CTRL + M = Multi-Set. This allows you to set multiple Spells/Traps from your hand at once, instead of doing it one by one.
CTRL + J = Rock-Paper-Scissors option. This is often used to determine who goes first.
CTRL + 1 = This allows you to roll a die. A prompt shows up asking you if you want to roll 1, 2, or 3 dice.
CTRL + 2 = This is the coin flip option.
CTRL + R = This command resets your duel disk without you having to lower and reraise. Your sided cards remain in the main deck as well as an extra bonus.
CTRL + Q = Quit. Pressing this allows you to lower your duel disk, either through forfeit or otherwise.
Other duel commands
-Changing your LP
If you are in duel chat, make sure the text bar is fully empty. Then type in lp - or + or * or / or = followed by a number.
For example. lp-500 reduces your Life Points by 500.
