Feel like the finale to Seaside left you with too many questions about your characters' fate that you want to answer for everyone? This will be a thread for veterans of the Seaside Rumble RP to post what their characters did in the aftermath, through up to 10 years time of what they did following the ending of Seaside.
This isn't mandatory, but it is recommended if you want your characters to have a chance at appearing even as a Cameo in The Nexus. For players who have an epilogue that will involve another player's characters, I recommend you work out the scene in PMs before posting.
All non-related posts will be deleted.

Azure Talon
Azure sighed, sitting in the waiting room of a rundown looking clinic in Uminari City, her blue eyes gazing back at her from a mirror. She sat back in the chair, waiting; it wouldn’t take too long, there weren’t ever that many people who came here, as the physician never advertised, and rarely demanded payment. Partly because she couldn’t help everyone, but was more than happy to help friends, and people referred by friends… and, well, anyone who came by. The lack of advertising was more her partner’s doing than anything, Azure suspected. It was still just a dull ache, nothing too severe; though if she let it go more than a week without a visit, it would be a lot more distracting. And today, she didn’t really want distractions.
[What a path that’s led me here, though…] she thought idly, as she often did in this clinic. After the Vanguard tournament, they had started to find scattered pieces of her Talon that Vii had apparently left behind. Assembling these to try to help her other path had seemed the correct choice; even while it had left her temporarily a literal High Ba’al herself, she called ‘The Avenger’. Unfortunately, when all was said and done and they had gathered all of the pieces, she was unable to come to terms with the Gorgon, who wanted to actually exist. Azure couldn’t blame her, but at the same time Talon had taken the wrong path in this situation, and simply usurped Azure’s body completely. When Azure had awoken next, she was in recovery in the Suenami Headquarters, and Talon was simply gone. It took a while to get from Chyva that the Gorgon had ended up going on a rampage when confronted with her not switching with Azure anymore, that had ended up with a few people injured, and Midori stepping in and giving the High Ba’al of Pain the same treatment that Loptr herself had gotten; Midori “broke” the pseudo High Ba’al completely, and as far as anyone knew no trace of her remained.
Life in the second and third years of school was actually completely ‘normal’. Nao had begun doing sciencey stuff on Greater Ba’al, and while Chyva spent the second year in school with Azure to make sure nothing else insane happened (and managed to draw Kay into their relationship as well), after that Chyva began going with Nao as extra protection; honestly, it made Azure a lot more comfortable with that, she always was concerned what would happen if Nao just suddenly vanished. Without the threat of the Ba’al distracting her from actually studying, she not only made it through on her dueling skills but actually passed at the top of her class, and moved on to the Pro Leagues. Two years there, until one day before a match when she was sparring with Kay… She still couldn’t forget the horror, or the sinking feeling in her stomach as Kay got bodily slammed into a wall by Berserkion, as a white film covered her vision…
The long latent power that Midori and Loptr always saw in her awoke, bonded with fragments of the destroyed Avenger. Her pro dueling career came to an abrupt halt at that point, for at the time she couldn’t fully control the power raging through her. It was too much to dream she’d ever be fully normal, she mused. She’d spent time and effort training the power, and while some of it was the divine power of a High Ba’al, she had significantly less of it than most. Her “drive” to gather followers of Talon’s old definition of “Pain” was seemingly content with just her three loved ones supporting her. Of course, it also caused her passive pain that wouldn’t fade, which is why she had weekly visits to…
“Sorry it took so long, Azure,” she heard, as her eyes followed the voice to a black haired woman with green eyes. “I’ll see you in the back, I know you don’t want to be late today of course,” the woman added in a teasing voice. Azure just chuckled. “Would be sad to be late to my own wedding, Maya, thanks,” she said, following the woman she had known as Celeste to the back. She made a weekly visit to Maya’s clinic, to relieve her of her Pain before it got too bad. She could go up to a month, but it was really distracting if she did. And Maya was right; this was the day she had waited for for a long time. Chyva and Nao had had their official, bright and fancy wedding last week, with herself and Kay as maids of honor (though technically Kay had played the role commonly known as “best man”); they had talked it out and figured given Chyva and Nao’s family’s both being significant and influencial in the world, that it would cause less of a stir for them to marry one another. Azure and Kay, meanwhile, would be legally married as well, and then when all 4 were actually all in the same world they lived together; in their hearts they were *all* married, but the law is the law and its better this way in general. Chyva and Nao had delayed their return to Greater Ba’al as well, given that the week in the middle the four treated as a giant honeymoon; with a wedding at either end of it, they thought it was a cute touch. Now it was her turn, and after Maya had cleansed her of her buildup of Pain for this week, she gave the girl a smile. “Thanks again. Tell JoJo we said hi!” she said with a smile. Maya nodded. “I will. See you next week.”
Azure left the building with a grin on her face. Nao and her had gone looking for dresses together, without Kay and Chyva present; Nao’s had already blown the others away pretty spectacularly, and Azure’s was just as elegant. The best part was, even her parents, who had initially been displeased over her newfound orientation to aghast at discovering the 4 of them were *all together* had finally gotten over everything in order to see their daughter actually happy.
“All in all…” she said, as she looked up at the sky. “I’d say things turned out pretty good, all things considered. I don’t really have any complaints about how things turned out,” she said aloud with a smile. The losses they had taken defeating Loptr... could have been much, much worse. All in all, they had saved the world from the Devourer, and though Azure herself would never be quite the same, she was close enough to ‘normal’ that she didn’t really mind. “No regrets.”

Amber Shadowstar and Owain Key
“Ha! I pulled it off again. World Linker, you’re a life saver!” Amber said with a gentle smile, looking at Jackknife – World Linker. Amber’s life in school had been somewhat tame. After spending the first semester as a shut in, in the second semester she met Celeste who had helped teach her about the Ba’al she had heard so much about, given rumors that had been flying around the internet, and the thing with the eye in the sky after the Princess dueled Midori at the end of the first semester. As a result, she had been less surprised than most when Loptr descended at the end of the first year, but managed to keep herself and her friend Owain alive and safe. Well, he was more than a friend at that point, thanks to Lord having taken Amber to her flower garden once and teaching her about things you don’t normally learn in school, but Amber stayed relatively calm other than that. When she discovered she had some talent in Buddyfight between school years, she really poured her attention into that. Though the Cyberse deck Owain had bought for her was an upgrade, she never really put that much attention into it; staying in Red for her school career. When she graduated, she and Owain both moved past Duel Monsters, though they still played now and then for old time’s sake; for the most part, they both moved into the pro leagues in their games of choice; Vanguard for Owain, and Buddyfight for Amber. Owain did pretty well in the pro leagues with his Ezel Gold Paladins, while Amber was continuing her habit of kicking ass with Star Dragon World Jackknife. She had let her hair finally grow out a bit, and it reached her shoulders now as she put her deck back in her core deck case. She never could figure out exactly why her Core Deck case took the form of four purple hearts clustered around the original jewel of the case when it Lumenized, though. After leaving the arena, she drove down to the house she shared with Owain. She was pretty sure Robin and the girls had gone back home, so it was just him at home this time. And that was quite alright with her; they’d been visiting for a bit, and she felt the only person who wanted the two families to go back to their respective homes more than she did was that lewd maid Sakuya. She opened the door to her home, calling out to her husband – “I’m home, love!” and smiled brightly as Owain looked up, having been waiting for her after watching her match on TV – his next one was next week. It had taken her a while to figure it out, but she really did love her clumsy idiot. She had finally gotten him to stop being a pushover (well, to people other than herself, of course) – though he still randomly bought her things that were ridiculously overpriced, but she just laughed it off most of the time. After all, she had started doing the same thing for him. All in all, she was quite content with how her calm life turned out; aside from Loptr’s attack that she had mostly just ducked and covered out of, nothing particularly exciting happened; and honestly, that was exactly how Amber liked it.

Delaga Oeandro
"another day, another opportunity" Delaga said with a smile as he walks out of his apartment in his normal grey suit
Delaga’s life in school had been somewhat busy after helping defecting broken Loptr and the almost apocalypse , from helping with his father Samuel with getting his talent agency in Uminari on its feet, to being more open to those who are close to him like Jas and Odd; while doing a favor or two on the side. Delaga had a lot on his plate, but he was up for the challenge.
After he graduated, He started his career as a manager for the Donwell talent agency branch in Uminari and had a knack for the profession already, making deals with a few highly talented people left and right. And as the years went by, the skills of his trade became world class. Doing the best he can for each client he works with, treating them like family, even wishing the best of luck to those he parts ways with. Right now He on his way to meet with a potential client.
[Ughhh, it's too damn early in the morning...I hope this one worth the trip] Delaga thought as he keeps on walking, then his private phone starts ringing and he picks it up "Hello? Delage speaking....oh it's you old man, I was starting to think you were dead" He said over the phone as he keeps up his paste to the meeting place at a card bar. "You have a knack of showing up at random times you know that? Years with barely a few pips out of ya"
"Oh, by the way, that girl you left me is doing fine. Loving family and everything." Delaga said with pride. He keeps on walking to the meeting place while saying nothing for a few moments, wanting to hear what the old man has to say "...Thanks for the tip, that will help greatly in getting my mark... I don't really care if takes a few more years or so, I'll get even one way or another, no matter how long it takes or what I have to do. Besides...I already done so much already, even if I don't remember some of it...would be a waste to stop now. I'll see you soon....goodbye" He hangs up his phone at the meeting place as he looks at the picture of Jas as his background [....I'm one lucky bastard. I should get him something on my way back.] He said with a smile as he puts away his phone in his coat pocket. He then looks at his neckless and his smiles dims a little [...If only you were here to see how much we have grown and accomplished...We miss you, always. Never forget] He thought as she squeezes on the silver cross. After a few moments, he lets go of his cross and shakes his head [Come on Delaga, now's not the time to feel down. Got to remember one of the golden roles of meeting a client, put your best foot forward] he thought as he takes a breath and smiles as he walks into the bar, looks at his potential client, and made his way to the table. He then looks at the client and says an opening line he been saying for years
"Hello there and thanks for reaching out, I'm Delaga Oeandro, ace manager from the Donwell Talent Agency. How do you do?" He said with a smile as he presents his business card.

Jas Larimer
Jas' school year was well best put as a handful of defeat and ridicule. He found solace eventually with the help of Azure helping him build a deck that seemed...to work wonders for him, Galaxy-eyes. It kept him safe through the rest of the year but unlike the rest of the raiders he backed away from the main fight feeling depressed that he couldn't help so he stuck close to those he could trust staying on the simple outskirts of all the fighting.
After Loptr's defeat Jas graduated later on barely gracing into yellow with the help of his Galaxy-eyes deck and the modification back into his crystal beast deck once the danger had passed he went back to playing with what he loved. His Gems.
A year after graduation eventually deciding it's best he didn't become a pro duelist he much preferred spending time with his boyfriend, Delaga. Believing to the end that his love wasn't as shifty as others made him out to be he found it out to be true. He was a talent scout after all.
Four Years later sometime after his nineteenth birthday He began working in the talent agency as practically a glorified secretary Delaga he never went long without some sort of affectionate praise. Though he had been teaching him the ropes as well as helping him learn multiple languages to best help the agency and his own business.
In the house that they owned lots of studying happened as well as just happy living. "God...Del! Why is Italian such a bitch to learn! I speak English and Turkish isn't that enough?" He complained as he slammed the book down with a groan feeling stressed about it only to have a hand placed onto his head giving him a pat or two. "You'll get the hang of it, Take it a bit slower or you run the risk of forgetting needed things." He said simply as if it was like riding a bike. Which only made him groan in further frustration. "Right...Hey, Are you ready for next month? My Sister's wedding then ours not long after?" He asked a grin upon his face sliding a hand into Delaga's as they sat at a the table in their house. "Of course we're not missing those two days especially, I already called it into the agency that we'd be busy for it...and a couple weeks after. We gotta have a good honeymoon right. I was thinking Italy." Delaga said with that insufferable joking smirk before being promptly slapped in his chest. "Noooo no more italian." He groaned. "How about Iceland or New Zealand i've always wanted to go to those places." He said with a smile. "Anywhere you wanna go we can go." Delaga offered with a smile.
The years following were simple, and happy for the two, no more crazy happenings no plots to end the world they had to duel through, at least up until inter dimensional travel became a thing which opened a whole new branch of talent scouting. One Jas took to with quite some interest.

Kerath Shadowstar
Kerath chuckled a little, as he finally put it away. The white jacket he had been wearing for a few years, since graduating. He had been really at a loss, the last year of school; everything was calm after the utter chaos of the Ba’al situation during the second year, but he had found himself lost. Despite his surprisingly consistent relationship with Silvia (still going strong!) he had found himself no longer wanting to continue the path towards being a pro duelist. He felt he was just chasing his old ghost’s shadow, and that it wouldn’t end well for him. Then, as always, the worst person of all time, Saitei, managed to drop an actual helpful piece of advice. When she wasn’t busy purposefully being a total bitch, she was rather insightful, really. Why don’t you teach?
The only thing more comical than Kerath’s expression at the suggestion (before he started thinking about it) was… well… Graduation time. Kerath took his diploma, and promptly walked up to Lord. He hadn’t really had any issues with Lord, especially after his help in the Ba’al issues in the second year and that he stopped bullying people significantly. “Lord. Hey… this is going to be random, coming from someone like me, but I want to apply to be a White, to go on the path towards being a teacher.” “…I feel sorry for your students already.”
It took him a bit of time to coax her into accepting him, but she did. Given his near-photographic memory and his knowledge of the not-so-glamorous side of being a pro duelist, he was a good choice for it. 3 more years in a white jacket, learning all he could from the other teachers while getting a degree online in his off time, and now here he was. Kerath chuckled a bit; he always felt like there could have been something more he could have accomplished; something that he had that was lost, another path that could have been. But, that was just idle dreams and fantasy. This was reality, and while it’s not how he had ever seen himself moving forward, he was content with it. He made a few pretty good friends going through school he kept in contact with; Azure, Akahito, Maya being near the top of the list, and he had enjoyed watching his little cousin starting her Buddyfight career. Another school year was starting, and perhaps in a deliberate irony, Lord had put him in charge of one class in particular for his first year as a teacher. So with a smirk on his face, he strode into class Xyz 1-3, looking around. [Time to whip some children into being halfway decent.]

Spira McCree
Spira leaned back casually in a beanbag chair of all things, in the living room of the house they had bought. Both Jack and Spira had moved on to a professional career after graduating, and the unlikely pair didn’t spend a ton of time together due to conflicting schedules… right now included… but they cherished what time they got. Of course, the part Spira liked best was not having to be in her custom boots and signature, elbow long gloves while she was at home. As much as she didn’t mind her differences as much after this much time, it was still easier to just avoid questions, especially with her name in the public eye now and outside of Uminari questions about the Ba’al being… not so accurately answered at times. Even worse now with this “Nexus” place, where there’s 4 entire dimensions of people who’ve never encountered the Ba’al before. She chuckled a little to herself, thinking about Jack. She never realized for the longest time that both he and Akahito were trying so hard to get her attention; she had liked both of them a lot for very different reasons, though she never had a good synch with either of them right away, with no particular shared circumstances. Akahito, like her, and lost his sister; unlike Spira, he had saved his. Jack though was more of a case of Spira being the only Ba’al he initially could stand the presence of. Speaking to her he even had a direct meeting with the Sovereign itself; a great honor. She herself got to spend a decent amount of time working the Sovereign’s will directly, as Humilitas; she and Caritas worked together when the Sovereign wanted things done in the Human world, which thanks to Midori’s request was in very limited amounts. Anyway, she only found out significantly later that the two of them had, of all things, dueled over her, which is to say who would continue to pursue her and who would back off. Jack of course only agreed to those terms because he knew he would win; he was Akahito’s kryptonite, and that duel was no exception. One thing led to another, and… well, here she was. She set her book of human history down on a side table, and flexed her claws into the tough covering of the beanbag she had reinforced to let her flex into it easily. It was time to get ready to go, she had another match coming up soon; she’d have to leave before Jack even got back. That said, she did have another half hour or so if she was quick in getting ready… [Well, I’ll just leave him a present for when I get back. He does like when I leave him some videos when he comes home, and I should be back before he has to leave again…] she thought mischievously, as she made her way back to their bedroom.

Tabooru stood in the middle of a graveyard reflecting on his life. It was strange knowing he was one of the reasons the Raiders were formed, if he had not summomed Gandora. After he graduated, he went to be one of the top duelists in the world. Of course that meant a lot of attention which wasn't something he particulary liked, but he dealt with it as that was the price of showing off the power of the dead. At somepoint in the school year, Amber gave him an idea of what his pro name should be, and he was satisfied with it as well. The Masked Phantom. He still tried to keep in touch with the friends he made during the years.
As he stood in the graveyard, he couldn't help but feel comforted in some odd way, as if someone had been watching him. He looked around and saw the many tombs which reminded him of why he duels, and who he dueled for. To him they represented his Phantom Knights, constantly resurrecting, growing stronger and seeking rebellion. The Gandora cards he got sadly couldn't be used in his pro dueling career, though he still kept them in his side deck for good luck. As the time came closer for The Masked Phantom's duel, he left the graveyard. With that he put a mask on his face, as he was already covered in a black robe with a hood, he couldn't help but smirk as he knew his Phantoms would seize another victory today. "It's time for the Rebellion."

Amy Banks, Robin Key, and Sakuya Sakata
“Ahhh, what a nice workout. Work up a good sweat” Amy said in her workout clothing, carrying a towel around her neck as she walks into her bedroom.
During her school life, Amy had a nice ride, from the friends she made like Amber and Owain, to her loving relationship with Robin and Sakuya, Amy felt truly blessed. After graduation, she was at a crossroad between picking a career as a duel monster player or a buddyfight player, both paths had something she wanted to do. After some heavy thinking and talking it over with Robin and Sakuya, she went for both careers, finding decent success in both fields over the years. She traveled around the world, had plenty of duels and fights here and there while having a lot of fun doing it. Though she did start missing her home and family, if she was away for too long, but she always can rest easy knowing that they will be just fine.
Around the time before Amy went into semi-retirement (Only doing charity work for the most part), she finally tied the knot with Robin legally, but in the hearts of those three, they were married to one other. Soon after that, Robin fully took over his family business after the passing of his mother and father, and moved into his family old house soon afterward with Amy and Sakuya. It was rough at the start, but he slowly got over their passing. He then slowly gotten used to balancing his music life with the life of running a business (With Amy and Sakuya helping him out). With Robin being as healthy as he ever been, Sakuya and some of her sisters working around the house and help keep an eye on the children, Amy was just happy to be apart of this weird lewd happy family of theirs and that things were normal......Normal for them at least. Amy walks over to her dresser and looks at a picture of her bother, mom and her dad, looking mostly at her dad [...If only you were here to meet our family..you would have loved them as much as I do....after laughing your ass off for a few minutes] She thought with a giggle as she puts down the picture frame and looks at another one with Robin, Herself, Sakuya, and everyone else that lives at the house, all of them smiling while the sun is right above the house [That's right...one weird happy family. Just the way we like it] She smiles happily as she puts down the frame, thinking to herself for a while about some what-ifs and how thankful she was about everything so far in her new life.
[Well...that's enough looking back for one day, I should keep moving forward with a smile on my face and stay in tip-top shape. Hmmm, Robin still away for a while.....I should pay Sakuya a visit and see what that lewd maid is up to~] She thought with a small mischievous grin on her face, as she goes to fine Sakuya in the house.

Griffin Talon and Odyssey D. Goodman
Two years before Nexus –
“Thanks again, Kay!” Griffin said with a wave, as he stepped out the door of their place in Uminari. As much as everything that had happened to his sister was weird, considering what all of them had gone through it wasn’t anything that bugged him much anymore.
Besides, he couldn’t complain much when Azure and Kay were more than happy to help him and Oddy out every so often, when they and Tai had to be out for a month or two at a time to go on a tournament circuit. Azure was standing outside, with the reason he was here. “You be a good girl for your dad, okay?”
“Okay, Aunt Azure!” said the little blonde girl, who was clearly Griffin’s kid. There’s no mistaking that hair anywhere.
“Thanks again, sis. It means a lot to us,” Griffin said, giving Azure a hug.
“Hey, any time. I’m sure if our positions were reversed, you’d do the same; lucky for you I had to retire, so we’re not! But you just couldn’t wait til you were done being a pro cardfighter,” she said dramatically rolling her eyes. “But it’s fine, I adore having my little niece around. Give Oddy a squeeze for me, okay?”
Griffin just chuckled. “I will. You take care, Z.”
“Always. Hell, I’ve made it through as much as I have, this minor condition won’t stop me either,” she said with a smile.
[Minor condition, she says; when two of the women she loves are doing science off world, and she’s once again been turned into a demigoddess of pain. Totally minor. Jeez, Z; how you keep going is beyond me sometimes,] he thought as he took his daughter’s hand, walking back towards the car after they both gave Azure one last wave.
“So, did you have fun, Neue?”
