This thread is for reference and to make it easier for TMs during STs. To TMs, when announcing an ST, refer players to this thread. All participants are expected to know these guidelines and follow them to the best of their abilities. TMs can help alleviate issues by linking this thread when announcing EOMP in-game as well.
Special thanks to Dawgy for the definition and formatting. Edited by Star Eclipse. These guidelines are subject to change by any appropriate administrator or TMs.
Each player gets 3 turns each, starting on the turn EOMP is called, and the person with the highest LPs at the end of those turn cycles wins.
• If it's a tie: Go into First Blood. At the end of each turn, compare the Life Points of both players. The player with the larger amount of Life Points is considered the winner of that duel.
• If EOMP is called during Game 1, the winner of that game will have won the Match.
• If EoMP is called during game 2, and after following the 'three turns each' clause both players have won an equal amount of games, a third game is started. Both duelists are not allowed to side between the second and third game, and this special third game lasts only two turns each instead of three. The duelist with the highest LPs @ the end turn is the winner. If it's a tie, go into First Blood.
• If Game 3 starts during EOMP, the order of who starts is chosen by the random method, not by who won the last duel.
Background: Star Tournaments are broken down into rounds. Each round has a time limit, and when that time limit ends, EOMP is announced. You can find the time limits listed in the tournament information thread. Please review and familiarize yourself with the EOMP guidelines so there is less confusion during Star Tournaments.
